When he was introduced in the series, he was shown to be very aggressive, but it is later revealed that all Maxum Mutt wanted was to get out and play after being in his cage for so long. He does not like Maxum Man's sidekick, Eric, and did not like Golly Gee Kid either, as shown in Slime Spree.
